He is helped, of course, by Lucy Tait - childhood friend and now the investigating officer in his case!Ms Brockmann writes with her usual pace and humour and the story is convincing and compelling reading. The characters are well-developed and likeable - the hero, as always in Ms Brockmann s books, easily lives up to the title of Tall, Dark and Dangerous! The love-story between the two is well-crafted and written with great sensuality.An excellent second installment in the series that, it seems, is finally being re-released since it was first published five years ago. If you are a fan of Suzanne Brockmann this is not a book to be missed and it doesn t matter whether you have read the first book Prince Joe. Enjoy!
